Red Line Lead Substitute

Red Line Lead Substitute is designed for use in engines which require leaded fuels including autos, trucks, farm equipment, outboard motors, race engines which suffer from excessive valve seat wear  and scuffing when operated on low-lead or unleaded fuels.  Many engines designed for leaded fuel can fail in a little as 60 hours when operated with inadequate levels of lead.  Even engines with hardened valve seats may fail when operated under high load conditions without lead.  When used as recommended, Red Line Lead Substitute can provide the protection of high lead gasoline and will not damage catalytic converters.  This product functions by depositing a sodium oxide coating on the valves which prevents metal contact, just as lead oxides coated the valves.  Sustained full-load operation or lean combustion may require 1.5 or 2 ounces per 10 gallons.

One bottle treats 120 gallons which equals 454 litres of petrol. This is equal to Ten Full Tanks on a standard car. Thus the cost is R12.00 per tank, is a lot cheaper than R160.00 per valve to R260.00 case hardened be re seated plus all the hassle of having to remove your heads and gaskets etc. Makes common sense doesn't it, plus your MPG is better.
